100 Word Challenge #20

For my 100 WC this week the prompt was to write what the conversation that the man and the statue had on the bench seat. 

Here is my version:

“Finally, I thought you would never come!” Exclaimed the Bench Statue!

“I’m sorry!” apologised the man.

“What held you up?”  

“Work has a massive project on; and Mr Marction gets so angry when employees take breaks to come to the cafe, especially when business is booming! Infact he never lets anyone out for over half an hour in between 12 and 2.”

“Man he sounds like a total control freak! Anyway I’m hungry, you've already come 1 hour later than usual!”

“Maybe you should share your secret with some other people, you’re bound to get lonely with me kept hostage in that building!”
