Hey bloggers, I haven't been posting for a while which is bad on my part so I will make sure that I am regularly putting work up here for you guys to read!
Anyway here is my 100 WC for this week, the prompt is to write a story about this picture:
Please enjoy and comment! (^o^)
I took a wrong turn, but never will I regret it.
Being lost had never been so beautiful; magical, it was exquisite.
The trees were ignored, they were being engulfed in beauty, by the wonders of the forest.
The night was lite up, I could feel the vibration of the hum that they put out.
Like a sign that they were expecting my presence.
I was being recognized, I just knew it.
They enjoyed my being there.
But why then, was this so confusing
It all seemed inhuman, they were small elegant lights, dancing in night.
What a lucky turn.
Isn't it interesting how small collections of dazzling lights can evoke such imaginative flights of fancy? There is something about the illumination that lights (get it) our imaginations.
ReplyDeleteI was at a rock concert a few years ago when the majority of the audience turned on their cellphones in the dark. It was a strangely moving experience. Anyway I digress Nikita.
I love your phrase -'I could feel the vibration of the hum.' I wonder if you need to expand your writing beyond the 100 WC.
I look forward to your next blog post.
Wow Nikita!
ReplyDeleteI love reading you blog post because the way you word this like hey guys and things. I can't wait to read more on your blog! My favorite blog post of yours is the William Pike Challenge about the rock climbing. If you had to choose one blog post what one would you choose?

DeleteHi there, my name is Kyra and I am a student in room 9 at Templeton School. I enjoyed the part when you said what a lucky turn. The poem made me think of fireflies at night time. Next time you should think about you vocabulary and re-read more.
