The First five Days in L.A

Hi Rimu Class and the rest of Y.M.S, at the moment it is 11:59
on Sunday morning and you guys should soon be at school! This is how the first 5/6 days of my journy has gone.

On Wednesday 5:30 we left on a small NZ plane from Christchurch to Auckland. We spent 2/half hours there and then at 9:30, we boarded a big NZ plane to L.A. We each had a movie screen each that was in the back of the seat in front of us! We were given tea, a pillow, and blanket, and then there was the rest of he 12 hour flight to go, which wasn't bad because we could sleep and watch movies!
About 11 hours after that we were given breakfast and then land in L.A.

The next day we went to Disney Land and that was really fun!! The best ride there was the one where you got wet and I was put infront and got soaked! The only trouble there was trying to find a icecream stand!?
At night we jumped in the roof top pool, (which was hard to find!) until ten, and watched the fire work display which they have every single night!!!!!

The day after that/Friday, we went to the Disneyland California!
That one was similar but had much more full on rides!
They has a huge roller coaster which Dad and I went on and I almost lost my sunglasses!
That day we wore sun block which didn't have much effect apart from stopping the sun burn our already burnt skin, as we didn't wear any the day before! (We forgot!)

Yesterday we went to sea world!
We had to get up early, like 6:30 because we had to catch the bus there which was 1/half hour away!
There we got lots of photos and videos of he different shows, and my fave was the pilot whale called bubbles! He did lots of cool tricks with his trainer in the water, including the trainer standing on bubbles nose, and being pushed by him!
The fire works yesterday were spitacular because it was the 4th of July, their independents day and country's anniversary!

This morning is going to be a relax day and will maybe got to the beach.
Mum and I got Mc Donald's for us across the road and the way that the Americans do thibgs are so different to the way we do things! Is now a good time to tell you that instead of saying I have to go toilet they say that they have to go potty. (Which was a little wierd when we first head them saying that.☺️

I will send photos in another post!

I should do another post a bit later to inform you about when I am and what I have been doing! Hopefully it is not as long as this one was.😊

  1. Thanks for posting Nikita! I found this so interesting...then I saw your label and got super excited! Haha. It would be great being in the USA on Independence Day - what a celebration! I like the idea of a rooftop pool. Did you guys buy Mickey Mouse ears to wear?? Can't wait to see the photos! It is about minus 2 degrees here and raining. We are on school holidays and loving it! Great to hear from you, keep in touch!
